Cherries
Cherries have been cultivated and enjoyed for eons—piles of cherry pits have even been found in paleolithic cave dwellings! Today, this popular fruit is commercially grown around the world and nowhere more successfully than in British Columbia.
The Okanagan produces some of the latest cherry crops in North America. These luscious, sweet dark fruits are usually available from late June through the month of August.
