Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
In mixing bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar. Add flour and blend well to combine.
Press mixture into an ungreased 9” x 9” pan. Bake for about 10 minutes. Will remain light colored.
In another mixing bowl, combine all remaining ingredients and beat well.
Pour filling mix over the pre-baked crust and spread evenly.
Bake for about 30 minutes or until filling bubbles and is caramel colored. Remove from oven and cool fully before cutting into bars.
